ABS, DSC, and Brake dash lights on?

Am I screwed? They came on the other shortly after I left my house. THe day after that left the house and they were off but then came on after about five minutes. I still have excellent brakes however no ABS. I understand that when the ABS isnt working the DSC light automatically comes on because the DSC has to have the ABS in order to work. I checked fuses in the glove box. They are all ok. I hear there is supposed to be some aluminum looking(encased?) fuses somewhere in the engine bay. Haven't found them yet giving it a once over. ANyone know where they are? A friend also told me to disconnect the battery for several minutes as that might reset the computer and re-enable the ABS and clear the fault code. Not sure if that would work or not. My car is out of warranty so I hope its nothing major as it would prob cost me several grand if the ABS is hosed. Anyone in the DC/Baltimore area happen to have an OBDII machine I could hook up to to check the codes? Please help if you have any ideas.

I might be wrong... but doesnt most ABS systems on BMWs have a ABS sensor... and that might go bad sometimes...... it might be worth lookin into before you try and fix something else.... just an idea... good luck.... you might want to take it to a dealer for sure... cause driving with no ABS isnt that cool... I tried it once...
