1. When you start the car in the morning - the light is off - speedo works....upon driving it a little distance (about 15 minutes or so) the light will come on.
2. If you start the car and just leave it running the light will come on without moving the car after a little while 15-30 min or so
1. The above problem makes me think you have A THERMAL EFFECT on the hydrolic unit itself. It sounds like the ABS unit probably has a fault which causes it to shut down ONLY when it gets hot (see 1 and 2 above.... after 15-30 minutes). you can further test it by applying different temps i.e. heating/cooling the hydrolic control unit itself. If so it may need to be reprogrammed (I am afraid by the dealer only) if not changed.
2. Also you said you Cleaned the sensor's ring
Take a look inside the hole of the sensor (where the sensor came out of) and you will notice a tiny wheel with holes in it then spin and look for anything foreign on it. As you may well know these sensors are magnetic. So too much of any stuff on that tiny wheel will throw your reading off causing all kind of unplausible readings/ calculations on the computer.
A.The above assumes all your sensors are in perfect condition since they are the primary cause of this problem. Just make sure
B. ASC light is also related to your differential+Throttle control+tranny. In fact when your car skids it cuts the throttle even if you floor it.
Good luck and please let us know of the outcome
