i own a 2000 e39 touring edition and it has standard light not AE i wanted to know if i goto a salvage yard and find oem angel eyes from a newer model i.e. 2001 -2003 will i be able to retro fit these onto my car without much difficulty?
You will be able to retrofit, but I believe you need a harness conversion for the AE's and stuff like that. Personally, I think there is a better option.
Last year I switched out my non projector, non AE preface lift lamps for the DEPO P39's. I purchased them through Umnitza with their CCFL AE kit pre-installed. They look geat and have a built in cutoff so the HID's do not blind other people on the road at night.
