This is a combination system that operates between split-second communication with the Gearbox, Throttle Sensor and ABS...
Try cleaning the fins on the inside of the brake discs (with a toothbrush), and check gearbox fluid/quality and maybe remove the throttle body to thoroughly clean that too...
Remove any engine sensor that you can get to and clean them too...
This is all I can suggest before you have to spend cash !!!
