98" 540i Obc (in Blank Mode)

Good Afternoon,

I am experiencing problems with my Multi Function Display in my 540I. It appears to be minor. However, I talked the service specialist at the dealership I frequent and as usuall he attempts to create the illusion of a major repair with all minor problems. I believe this is a setup, and I don't believe the actual repair should take more than 10 minutes.

Call it my imagination, but every time I take one of my BMW's to the dealer that I frequent they return with new problems. I think it is time to do it myself.

The interior signal lights do not function. however, the exterior lights work. In addition, the multifunction display, clock, and dashboard multifunction display suddenly do not function. I inspected and ohm'ed out all of the fuses. They are all good. What should I inspect / replace next??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
