I got the 5 about two weeks ago. runs great but i have a question already. In the pictures notice there is a bolt sticking up about 1". My question is why is it not snugged down and should it be?

Strange Design.....

No this bolt is ment to stick up, it is actually a + positive post......it is used to jump start your car.....it is the positve post from the alternater cable....the intake manifold is missing a " + " (cap) that covers the terminal......here is a picture of that cap circled in red:

The only question I have is how the hell did the cap that is supposed to cover the jump start terminal fall off?

Don't know how it fell off. was never on the car when i got it. it's just another part i'll have to find at a yard or private owner. thanks for the info.
