just bought a 97 540 and love it, but im lookin to do the xenon angel eye conversion. called the dealer, and they told me about 4 g's to convert. i know that its the dealer and they want to robb me of my money, but does it really get that expensive to convert. ive heard of jlevi sw and i was thinking of getting those, but how hard is it to convert from a halogen light to a xenon light, is it a DIY job or will i have to go get it done professionally. i was also lookin for the red and clear tail lights, ive seen cheap aftermarket brands that leak, anyone know where i can get a good brand at a good price.

although they aren't OEM, they not only look better in my opionion, but are also cheaper
they look really good but how much will they cost and how hard are they to install.
The conversion should cost about a grand. Talk to Jon Levi about it, you probable could DIY. Also check out umnitza.com. If you change the lights to angel eyes, change the fogs to match your new xenons.
$449.00 for the enclosure and
$300.00 for the xenons to go with
if you have any idea what you are doing electrically you can install it on your own just fine. Plus, from jlevi you can get the angel eyes to come on remotely. They can be spliced into your dome lights, so when you unlock your car they stay on until you get out and lock your car, then they fade off. Very cool! I have them on my car...

Hey did u do the install by yourself? I just got jlevi's projector39 kit and probably going to DIY. but the projector39 kit did not come with the wiring harness/plugs for the DDE. duno if they missed it when they shipped it to me; and i saw from one of the forums that you need to bend the AC filler tube in order to retrofit the HID headlight in the passenger's side:
is that true?
Also, where does the DDE plug on top of thsi pic plug into? I dont think i have the wiring harness/power source thag plugs into the blue wired plug:
do you think you can take a picture of the engine compartment near the installed projector39 headlight so i know where to mount the xenon prolumen box and the ignitor box? thanks a lot
sorry for OT... but on topic, I got the projector39 kit w/ xenon for $842.15 w/ tax and shipping; hopefully jlevi will get bak to me and make this purchase an excellent experience
