95 e34 stereo problems. Need Advise Badly

I recently purchased a 95 e34. The stereo was crackling and cutting out so I decided to remove it and troubleshoot it. As I was removing it, the alarm came on and did it's thing. I reinstalled it and entered the code. Nothing had changed. I removed it again and when I put it back in, it does not even turn on. It has power but no display, sound or anything. I have a very nice aftermarket Pioneer but don't want to change the factory stereo if it can be fixed. I've disconnected the battery, nothing. If someone knows how to reset this stereo I would very much appreciate it. As I said, I really want to keep this vehicle as factory as possible. Thank you in advance.

U can't Fix It Or U can buy another one
but u said that u have a pioneer aftermarket radio
u can install it but u need to know if your car has a factory amp or not(remove the left panel of your trunk to reveal the amp)

first thng u need is purchase (metra 70-8590) for non amplified vehicles or (metra 70-8591) if your car has an amplifier

2- remove the factory radio

3-connect metra to stock factory wiring harness

4-connect metra wires to your aftermarket radio harness (12v+12v)(red+red)(gnd+gnd)
but you need to remeber to connect power antenna on metra with remote on the after market to run the amp

5-connect rca's to your aftermarket radio

6-put back the aftermarket radio

7- you are ready to go
