The other day I left the key in 2nd position for too long and drained the battery; and as such I had to jump start it.
I did that and it worked fine, however it said it needed the radio code. Later I was messing around and hit the code button on the OBC and entered some random numbers...and then the car went into a sort of lockdown mode. It won't start unless I enter a code which I don't have.
The code is probably in the manual in the glovebox which is locked shut...that's a whole other story.
Any ideas how to get it running again?
Oh yeah, there is/was a 15 minute countdown displayed on the OBC. What's that all about?
I think that the code you gave entered is actually an additional anti theft process, but from memory you would need to enter the same code twice to activate it. If you leave the key in the ignition and let the timer countdown, it may unlock itself, but it may be required for each trip that you have to repeat the process.
