95 525i prewired cd changer

I have a 95 (94 mfg) 525i and was wondering how to tell if it is pre-wired for an Alpine cd changer in the trunk or a Pioneer changer

I'm assuming your talking about the later Alpine changer. If your connection is round it is for the earlier Alpine Tr1003 or the Pioneer changers. The wiring changer in 1996 to the newer Alpine connection. I actually have an older Alpine changer that will work if your car is a 1995.
