?? 94 530i Strange Front End Problem Please Help??

I have a 94 530i. It has the strangest steering problem. It doesnt seem to have any loose front end parts that would cause a problem as severe as it has. When you drive down the road the steering wheel jerks and the car drifts severly from side to side. It is almost undriveable above 50mph. Please Help. Thanks

Yes. The tires are new and its not a loose wheel either.

Sounds like it could be the lower control arms (either bushings or the balljoints) or tie rods. I can't really see anything else that would be doing that.

That said, it's sometimes very hard to track down front suspension issues on these cars. I had shaking, replaced every single damn thing, now something knocks when I turn left ... it just never ends.
