Hey all, my 530i has a very rough idle that started a couple of weeks ago. I had a CEL that said it was my O2 sensors. I changed out both, the CEL went off but my rough idle continues. When I step on the gas pedal, I have limited power until it shifts into 3rd gear. I'm told I need to check my ICV, I just don't know where it's located?? Any other suggestions on what may be causing this would be greatly appreciated.
Check your intake manifold and ducting for vacuum leaks. It could also be the Air Mass Sensor on its way out, sometimes you can clean the sensor element with brake cleaning spray.
