Hello I have a 1990 525i m20 Eng. I replaced the airflow sensor and idle control valve. The coolant temp sensor seems to be ok. I checked for vacumm leaks around the intake and brake booster also.
The car stalls and idles low when first started in the cold and stalls out. Its ok once I get down the road a couple of miles. Then if the car sits for approx 30 minutes it stalls and idles low. There seems to be a little hesitation when I give it gas in neutral. Its a 5-speed with 193,000. I checked for vacumm leaks around the intake and brake booster also.
