| '87 535i Battery Will Not Stay Charged!
I believe it's a dead draw somewhere. The battery is only 4 months old and still under warranty. That's not it. I took it in for a charge, and the guy said it charged fully in about 10 mins! The car would not even remotely turn over before I pulled the battery out for a charge. I put it back in and I got about 4 or 5 starts out of it, before it had no charge and engine would not even turn over again.
About a week or so before this happened, the turn signals, windshield wipers and horn all went out AT THE SAME TIME. Odd. It would come and go and come and go, but when one went, all three went. Then it became permanent shortly before this dead draw ocurred. May or may not be a factor...
Maybe the alternator?
Maybe one of the wires attached to the positive battery terminal?
Just not sure at this point.
Any ideas out there??
