I have just bought a 87 BMW 528e and have figured out most of the system except how to reset the Radio. It now displays CODE and I followed the manuals instruction to leave radio on for 1 hour and then key in code. I have (1) Code card left in manual, but nothing happens when I enter code except for a beep when I enter the last number of the code.
