I have a 1987 528e with a blown motor (timing belt broke (hole in piston(UGLY)) and would like to know what if any motor would be a direct replacement upgrade for this car. Wife loves it to much to give it up and of course being typical male myself would like to have more POWER. any info would be greatly appreciated.
