oky doky heres my sich....

i own an 83 528e (great car except top end of engine has interenal probs and is frying my cat after 2 motnhs of a enw one on...)

well i'm, fixing the buy an 82 528e for 300 bucks the whole top end of the enigne has been rebuilt i know the dude he just wants the tihng gone..


his motronics box is fried.....


if i buy his car in order to move/drive it can i take my motronics box out of my 83 528e and put it in his 82 528e temporaly without hurting anytihng????

pull both of the boxes (since they are easy to get to) and match the numbers on the box. Every box that was different had a different number. Will he let you try yours in his car before you buy it???

yes but puing mine in woulnd't screw anytihng up would it.. if my box is different i mean..

and what could casue a motronics box to burn out??

is it doubtful that there is a short in the electrical system????
