6-disc cd changer

I have a oem bmw cd changer in the back of my car.

Where can I get extra 6 cd holder cassettes?, so I don't have to keep handling my cds to swap them out.

How much do they cost?

Anybody have a home cd player that takes the same cassette?

I heard it was pioneer. but of course we are talking about it being 10 years old.

Last night I put some new cds in my changer

started my car this morning innocently

there was a crack and a terrible rumble !!! ahhh

I had left the cd player on and Garth Brooks 'Thunder rolls' scared the crap out of me.

I thought my engine was having a real problem especially after all the work I have been doin recently.

n $30 bucks for one 6 disc magazine!! at Bavauto!!!

And I thought dealer oil changers were expensive! lol

its sad, but about the only place to get a factory part like that. You may try going to an audio shop and seeing if they have any from the same manufacturer.

I saw some on ebay for $4 a piece, used - I have never bought off of ebay so perhaps I'll venture into a new buying experience to save some big bucks.

Get it from ebay, there are a few reliable sellers.
I got my CDchanger from Christy_bmw on ebay.

Christy is the most prolific, but also the most expensive. Get the model # of your unit and set E-bay to e-mail you when one comes up. Wayyy cheaper and not much can go wrong with the cartridge.
