I bought my 99 540i used and there is no cd changer in the trunk. I just purchased a Sound Spec changer and it plugs right in, but I can not figure out how to mount it. Does anyone have picture of their factory unit you can post? I do not have nav, but have all the controls for the cd in the dash. Thanks for any help!
Well, I just figured it out...There are no mounting brackets in the car. Apparently the car came from the factory without a cd changer or the mounts. The USA Spec changer plugs right in and plays well. I have the ordered the brackets from Christy on ebay.
