540i Airbag Light - BMW Forum

I accidently unplugged one of the velocity sensors for the Airbag. After that, the light stays on / blinks. Is there a trick to resetting this fault without having to pay some buck$ at the dealer?

PEAK RESEARCH sells that tool for about $130-$160 depending on features. It will reset your air bag light, oil change, check engine plus fault codes.

choice "B",
take it to the dealer and have it reset... cost, between $65 to $120... depending where you live and the dealer

I have 528i and the airbag light came on last Friday, apart from the driving expereience, which is senataional, when there is a problem, the "glamour" of the experience "goes out the door". My 5 has only done 85K km and i am seeing such alerts and faults, it's leke being married to a Lizzy Borden who looks like elle macpherson.
