I need help!!!! should I trade in my 2001 530i sport w/94Kmiles for a fully loaded 2004 545i sport that has navi and 47k miles? My concern is the warranty has expired and isn't there a big 50K service comming up? I'm not sure what an extended warranty would cost or what the service consists of nor cost. Any input you could give i would be greatful.

This question really comes down to service records. Have a close look!

alot of times you can include the extended warranty into the financing of the car. If you are truly worried about the 50K service pull a Carfax report and closely examine the service records of car and you should be fine

Whats this Big 50k service???? Never heard of it here in the UK a service is a service no matter what mileage.

I've never heard of a 50K mile big service. I know of one at 75K miles (which I ended up doing most of myself btw). Maybe there's a big difference between the E39 and E60 but I don't think it would be that much of a difference.

Totally different kind of car.

1. Do you want the V8 rather than the I6? Remember higher maintenance bills and gas bills.

2. Do you want the E60 rather than the E39? I don't.

3. Does the E60 have service records?

4. How have you taken care of your E39 over the years?

5. Can you afford it?
