530i (E60) Bluetooth and Sterio Issues

Hi there,

I am driving an E60 530i 2004. My problem started with small break ups in the sound system at the same time the bluetooth breaks up and phone gets uninstalled for like a second and then it get connected again. I was fine with that till finally the blutooth and sopped working all together and when i press on the telephone button nothing happens at all. I realized that the box for activating bluetooth system is unchecked however If I go inside the menu and try to check the box it does not gets checked. I tried to remove the battery and sort of re initialize all systems hoping it gets fixed but unsuccessful and generally still sufer from break ups in the stero system for a few seconds especiall in summer when temprature exceeds 30 C.

I am not sure what the problem is, any ideas on how to fix that please advise.

hi guys i have the same problem in my car E60 530i m sports. yr 2006. i have found that the bluetooth module in the reer was faulty. everytime the temp reaches exessive heat sound will turn off and come back on after a second or so.. and my bluetooth signal would drop from the display screen.. i have come to the conclusion that it has been put in a bad possition by bmw where the modular does not get any air cerculation and starts warming up after a while
