Problem with 530D after extensive repairs - any help/advice appreciated.
At present there is pressure escaping from the oil lubricating cap after the engine idles for some minutes, also an oil leak in vicinity of turbo. This is after the dealer said he had fitted a new turbo and there was still a noise in the engine. Work done(?) and billed: (in addition to new turbo)
grinding shaft, 6 ring sets. big end bearing, main bearing, oil pump, connecting rods, full gasket set, recondition head, hone the block, oil filter, fuel filter, oil, antifreeze, labour.
sounds like the turbo is still f**kt.
Is there any blue smoke from the Exhaust?
Sound's silly but is there a seal/not around the cap?
Not a turbo guy, but brother is,oil in the turbo, turbo f***kt.
Give the dealer a slap!
