530d intake manifold

Hi all.
I am replacing the intake maniflod off my 2001 530d manual sport due to a crack in the exisiting one.
I have managed to get a part number (11617792019).
part number 7792019a is for an intake manifold from a 525d e60 2009, is this the same as mine?

The part number for an intake manifold for a 2001 530D is 11 61 7 792 019 as you posted. Remember that intake manifolds are different between manual and automatic when you source one.

A 2009 is an E60, and uses a different engine and completley different intake manifold, which will not fit.

Thanks for the reply, think i have managed to source a decent used part for a quater of the price Bmw wanted for it.

The mark up on BMW parts is ridiculous. The main reason for mark up on any "dealer" part is usually because of the Logo. Look at BMW brand parts and somewhere you will see the BMW logo. That alone makes the part more costly.
