I am replacing my manually controlled seats with electric ones.
Something which i should have looked into before i bought them was to see if there was loom in the car for them!!!! There isn't.............
I have been in touch with BMW and looms arnt cheap, £600 apparently.
Does anyone know what all the terminals that are in the seat for?
My theory is, if i can get power to it, the seat will operate, i have tried attaching power to one of them with what i believe is pos and neg but to no avail, or is the seat earthed only when it is fastened down???
Before i go, i must tell you that i attached power to the seatbelt tensioner by accident!!!!!!!!!!!!! BANG, i have since replaced it!!!!
