hi guys, i have a 528tdi it is a 1996 p reg automatic 100k miles. The turbo failed and a new turbo was fitted under warranty but since this, it has developed a flatspot at 2500 revs. it was taken it back to the garage but since its warranty is up they wont repair it as it didnt happen straight after. do you think this is turbo related or something else. any replies will be greatly appreciated,

Incorrect injector timing and no boost pressure from the turbo are crucial on diesel engines performance. Can you get it checked by a pro.
BTW: how does this one compare with your e36 M3?

There is no comparison to the m3 thae auto is more of a commuter car and the m3 a toy. both excellent in their own way but totally different, would reccomend both,
hope this helps you.
oh and if you ever get the chance buy an m3 they are awesome you wont be dissapointed.
