| 528i cigar lighter cover stuck closed
The cigar lighter (cover) in the front console is stuck closed. I can't see what's keeping it from popping up normally. I can push the cover down about a 1/4" to the point where it should spring open, but that's where it sticks. Has the lighter somehow gotten misaligned and is holding the mechanism from springing up? I tried to gently pry it open, but no luck. I don't use it to smoke, but occasionally use it to plug in my phone charger. Any suggestions on how to get it to pop back up?
