528e Exhaust

Hello everyone, I am new here. Anyway, my question is about the exhaust on my 85' 528e. I am in need of a new muffler and rear section, but wanted to upgrade. I want performance exhaust, but dont have the cash right now. I would like to replace mine with a 84'-88' 535i's (dual tip) but dont know if it will fit. Does anyone know if it will fit or have a solution for a relatively cheap dual tip muffler that will fit in the tunnel?

i would not recomend it, but you could bend some pipe and make dual tips by urself. the 535's muffler should fit on the 528e. i may be wrong though so ask more people before you do it.
