My husbands 1986 528e has a very annoying alarm that sets itself even without locking the doors. It seems to be after market, and we have pulled the fuse for it, then the car doesn't start. Help please!! Is it aftermarket? How can I tell?? What can we do to disarm it?
I would recommend taking the car to a car alarm/audio place and having them take a look at it. It's probably aftermarket since BMW didn't install alarms on cars back then.
