525i Squeaking brakes

I just changed the front brake pads on this 05 525i. I slow down at lights, stop signs, etc. and they squeak. Normal???

That can be normal, but there's never too much caution on brakes.

Check that the anti rattle clip isn't making contact with the disc surface. Did you change the type of pads that you are using?

I think they weren't ceramic brakes

I just changed the front brake pads and disc and having the squeaky noise too, everything seems normal (confirmed by my mechanic) and the pedal also normal when i step on it, no vibration too when hit the brake on high speed...

would it be from the material of the brake pads? what is the recommended brand to use? (for brake pads)

Remove the pads and give them a good coat of copper ease grease or brake system grease (not normal grease) to the rear of the pads face, refit and all should be good.
