Over the last few days my 91 525i headlights turn themselves off
a few minutes after I turn them on. Nothing else goes off, like parking
lights, just the headlights. It's usually in the morning or at night.

Has anyone ever had this happen to them?!?!?!

Sounds like a wiring issue, check the wires leading to your LKM (light control module)

If not, its a new LKM.

Replace the light control module. Very common problem.
