525i ECU location?

Hey everyone, i am joining the community! Does anyone know where the ECU is located in teh 525? I kind of have hard time figuring that out... I would appreciate any response!

What year is the 525i? even though ti doesnt matter probally but the only electronic area's that has computer things taht I could think of would either be under the back seat or one of the 2 black boxes in teh hood that house electronic stuff, I would go with more of the Under the back seat by a guess but its probalyl wrong hehe

in my e34 525, its located on the passenger side (black box under the hood) but if you have an e39, it may be different.

its in the same spot on the E39's but you have to remove the air filter box setup..
