525d(E60) Cam belt or chain?

The title says it all really. Im looking forward to buying my first BMW shortly. The first query i have is if it uses a chain or belt for timing. If it is a belt at what mileage should it be changed?

Thanks in advance

The last BMW engine with a belt was the m20 and the last instance where it was used was in 1992 e30 325i convertibles.

Everything from that point (and most others before) are chain driven.
