| 525d burning oil
Hi All
2002 525tds SE Tourer
I recently had a disaster when the swirl valve broke up and parts went into the engine, lost 4 valves, had the seats recut and bought new valves, ground remaining valves in and new stem seals gaskets etc..
No damage to pistons thankfully.
Since the rebuild she seems to burn oil, smokes like hell and oddly it smells almost like paraffin, obviously it isnt.
My thoughts were the turbo seal, maybe its drawing oil up, car goes like shit off a shovel.
Does anyone have any ideas as to anything else it could be please. |
