I just found a manual online that they claim is a repirnt of the original BMW shop manual for the 5 series. But...
It's $200 US and not returnable. One plus is that they offer free shipping

They don't really give you any info about the manual other than:
<start>
Special Order Reproduction of Original Manual - This Manual is Non-Returnable
Note: This manual is the actual repair information BMW uses in the BMW dealerships to repair vehicles. This manual is a licensed factory reprint of the original manual or microfiche. These manuals are meant for professional mechanics or highly skilled individuals.
Table of Contents:
Complete vehicle specifications, scheduled maintenance, lubrication, engine specs, tightening torques, etc.
Complete factory repair manuals for all BMW's listed above including all vehicle systems.
Ground Shipping (3 to 6 days): FREE
Priority & Second Day Air Delivery Available

Has anyone had any experience with these?
Are they really what they say they are?
Are they worth $200?
I don't want to shell out that kind of cash and find out it's not what I need and not be able to send it back.
Thanks
David
