I have just acquired a 1991 520I SE Auto Petrol; a new friend for my 535SE Auto.
My servicing fitter tells me that the oil level in the gear box is in need of changing/topping up, but that the only method of doing this work is via a main agent, as the gear box oil levels require a special pump in order to get oil back into the gearbox? Can anyone advise if this is correct, and if so, is there a work around this servicing problem?
Many thanks.
