need some help ,for the last few days my temp gauge is acting strange,every 4or5 km the needle goes into the red and then 1km returns to normal then 4km does the same ,anyone got any idea why this happens

First thought is there's air in the cooling system which means it may have developed a leak. It's a good idea to get it fixed soon to avoid engine and cylinder head damage.

Could also be the theremostat if you not losing coolant,check level when stone cold.

right first time witeshark had a leak got it sorted before any damage was done thanks for the help
