Hey all. Of course I know there is a size difference, ie power, features etc. But what I really want to know from all you BMW experts is 525i, 530i,or 540i. From all that I've read here, I get the feeling the better of the 3 is the 530i. I know that the 540 is nice, but not too sure if I really need an 8cyl. I've also read that the difference between the 525 and the 530 is obvious. I appreciate any help. BTW' does this sound like a decent deal?
2001 530i with nav, 46k, prem pkg AT for $35,000???? Thanks again!
You should be able to get some guidance by comparing your deal to what you can find on that link.
Be sure and get a dealer/independent BMW mechanic/AAA inspection before buying it. Also ask for maint. records. If the car is being maintained by a dealer, you can call the dealer with the VIN and ask to see a printout of the maint./repairs done on the car.
imo, all the models can reach the top speed and handle it well. The difference is how quickly you want to get there.
