I hate the rims on my 528i right now and I want them changed as soon as possible. That is harder then it seems when ur low on cash to spend on your car. This kid who heads up his own bimmer store is willing to sell me his slightly used rims and new tires for $800. It is an 00' e46 328ci (crazy car), will they fit my car?

I don't think 3 series rims fit on 5ers... I might be wrong.

I know that E36 wheels will not fit E39s and vice cersa cos the spacing at the rear arches is different. I have heard of people in the UK using E46 M3 wheels on E39's but I think the E46 M3 has a wider rear set up than normal E46 such as 328Ci. Best check wi local dealer

no they wont fit.

the lug pattern is the same (5 x 120)
but the offset is nearly 20mm inward more than it needs to be for the 5 on the 3 series wheels.

you would need about a 20mm spacer to make the offset correct, which - most will tell you is an unsafe idea and will also require LONGER lug studs which will put a lot of stress that doesnt need to be there.
