Iv been looking into it and the transmission that connects to the 3.5l will bold up to the 2.7l but the drivshaft is bigger. Is this an easy problem to fix, or do i have to buy the trany for the 3.5l?

Oppps i wrote that kinda wrong. I mean that the transmission in the 528e will bolt up to the 3.7l engine, but the driveshaft size is different.

If the tranny bolts up, then you should be able to use your old driveshaft if the lengths are the same.

Do you have a manual or an automatic. When i wanted to do a similar swap i was told that the automatic transmission from the 2.7 won't bolt up to the 3.5.
