This may be old news, but today I was told that the 5 series is undergoing quite a face lift, and will be available late March or early April 2006 as a 2007 model. Also, the X5 will be a different animal, availabe this coming October. I asked what would happen to the M5 in March, and no comment was the reply. But, I would expect if the body style is changing, the M5 will follow along. Anybody have info?

Not a clue.....It will be nice to know!
But some how I think it is too early for BMW to change to the new models especially the M5.... they just introduced it not tooo long ago!!
It will probably resemble the e90 a little more... more featuristic... and full of body lines... with a the main focus of a revamp being in the rear area.
My dealer suggested I wait before ordering anything now. I was about to trade my 2004 545 on a new 550. The M5 is also in the "mix" and I am trying to get info on that as well. The X5 is changing, and info will be released soon. ZZ
