2007 BMW 525xi Angel eyes and Halo lights not working

Hi My dash monitor shows both left and right parking lamp malfunction messages.

Looking at the front of the car, the halos around both the outer and inner headlights are off as well as the inner headlight bulbs (not sure if those are low beams or parking lights) - My outer headlights still produce both high and low beams and are the only lights that light up beside the amber parking lights.

Fog lights below work as well as turn signals.

I have not checked any bulb but pulled the driver side headlamp unit out and then pulled the Halogen(?) bulb out from the inner headlamp and visually inspected the bulb. It was clean and no burn marks and the filaments all looked good.

Is it possible both the halogens and the halo bulbs need replacing all at once. So that would be four bulbs?

I checked the fuses in the glove box - #'s 5,6 & 19 and they are good too.

Can the bulbs or wiring be checked with a continuity checker as well as the wiring jacks?

I have had rodents nesting in the engine compartment which causes, according to the dealer, my service engione light to come on/off intermittently.

Any advice welcome?

I checked continuity on one of the halogens and was good. also glowed when connected to the car battery.

Also had continuity at the socket that plugs into the halogen but no current detected at the socket with the key in on and I cycle thru all light switch positions.

All 5 watt fueses are good.

Thoughts anyone.
