2007 530xi ECU

I am trying to install a Power chip into the ECU on my 530xi. I located a box where it looks like all of the electronics come into. This is on the passengers side of the engine compartment. The problem I now have is I cannot tell which piece is the ECU.

Any help would be appreciated.

Its usually the larger aluminium box, pull them out and it will have an identifier on it !

Thanks Dabsy. I pulled the aluminum box out as much as possible at it did not have a Bosch sticker on it or Motronic.

Unplug them all and pull them out mate... Won't hurt anything...
You will notice that they all have your last 7 digits of your chassis number on...
