2004 bmw 530 drive control system drive moderately light coming on
hi
i am new to this forum , i have a warning light coming on , the indicator lamp with the triangle with the 3/4 circle around it
and it says drive control system drive moderately
I suggest having the car's computer scanned for codes.
hi
thanks for the response
should i use an obii scan or bring it to a bmw dealer
i dont want to really bring it to a bmw dealer , they are very expensive
Just had this fixed on mine. It happens intermittently when I turn the steering wheel. The problem is a failing Steering Angle Sensor in the steering wheel cluster (SZL). It's about a $550 part.

if you just had it fixed, then your mech did not do a good job. Steering wheel angle sensor requires also that it be set & calibrated correctly.
What I meant was it happenED intermittently which is why I got it fixed. The dealer's work order showed that the cluster was replaced, programmed, and calibrated. I've had the car back for a week now and so far so good. No errors.
