ghead I recently received a letter from BWM informing me of a recall on my '04 525i for the lamp module. I took it in to have it repaired and came out with a new problem where my RDS (radio identification of artists/songs) and my left speakers do not work. They claim that it is a software bug in the iDrive software. My car is in the shop AGAIN. Anyone else had this problem?
I own a 2004 525i too, what lamp module did you get replaced? Was that a complete recall or is it that my car does not have the same problem? I bought it on May '04

I own a 2004 BMW 525 also, did not hear aqbout that recall yet. While Im here already . . . do you guys live in winter climates and need winter tires; Im in the market for winter tires & need your advice; we do drive rear wheelers.
