2001 (m02) 530i Stalling Problem

Well im back on these boards with a new BMW.
My problem i am currently facing is it seems to want to stall at take off or at very low speeds. It also gives a bit of a lunge feeling..

The revs seem to sit around 700rpm when idling so i dont know if increasing these would help my problem..

Has anyone else had this problem? BTW its auto

Further info, if i am very very light with the accelerator at take off and slowly give it gas it does not stall, it seems to be more when i give it a little bit (not flooring it, half way maybe).

So the only way to drive it really atm is by letting the auto box to move the car without any accelerator and once the car starts moving i can give it a boot full

Anyone have any ideas?

This seems to be intermittent only happening occassionally, but it will continue to happen during the trip (not just some traffic lights) until the car has been stopped for a period

Also does anyone know is the e39 auto like the e36 as far as refilling? does it have to be refilled from the pan underneath or do they use the ATF area under the bonnet.

Thanks in advance Michael

16valex is on a distinguished road
Try unplug the MAF sensor see if problem goes away, if it does then it is your MAF sensor. Also could be your Cam sensors.
