Is a method available for resetting just the "brake service due" indicator on an e39 2001 model.Thanks. Newbie.

So may I ask why you want to do this? To reset requires a special device, I recommend going to a dealership and i'm sure they will take care of it.

you need to replace the brake linings sensor in order for the indicator to go off. definitely go to the dealer. it should cost around $65
