Hello,
I have a unique problem that has occured recently in my car. I noticed that the Service Engine Soon light came on two weeks ago (with error code PO455-Large Evaporative Emissions Leak). I have noticed the smell of gas when entering my garage and when walking around the car, but did not think much of it until yesterday when I filled the car up with gas. As I topped off the fuel tank I noticed a fairly large amount of gas dripping from the right side of the car underside (tank filler side) just next to the rear right tire. The fuel continued to drip for about 3 hrs. and then stopped, but the fuel level dial was still indicating a full tank. I am wondering if the fuel filler hose or return hose is cracked or has come loose? I will drive the car until my fuel tank is almost empty then will see what my be causing the problem. The dripping stopped, but I do smell gasoline when I enter my garage so there is definitely an opening in the fuel system somewhere at the rear of the vehicle. No other leaks have been found anywhere but the right rear area.
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

Have you pulled your rear seat and the sender access doors?
Hello,
I will pull the seat later this week. The tank is still fairly full and I wanted to run some gas out of the vehicle before checking the sender, fuel pump, etc.
