2001 530i list of things to fix

Hello everyone.
I'm new to the board - after being a guest and enjoying all the posts.
The warranty on my wife's 2001 530i (5speed) is about to expire.
Before the warranty expires, is there a list of common things that I should ask my dealer to look at/replace?

The instrument cluster over time will display intermitent pixels missing.

Do a net search on bmw e39 instument cluster problems.

You want to check all the cupholders to make sure none are broken (I dont know about 2000 and up 5 series cupholders, but the 97 and 98 SuCK!!!). Drive the car and listen carefully for unusual noises or sound coming from air-conditioning, engine, stereo (remember you may have gotten used to some noises). While you have the warrenty, might as well fix all the small things! Good Luck
