2 cyls o compression,what now?

2002 540i with 160000 miles ran perfect until i nailed it and hit passing gear.then it seemed like it was missing.i had a freind help due a compression test and 2 cyls have 0 compression.idid have the intake off but i can t see how that would affect it.i know i m goung to have to pull the head but i would like to prove whats wrong first.i really miss this car.any help or threads would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Its either fried some rings or dropped some valves, timing issue may have caused this... My first thoughts mate...

is there a way to check if the, timing is right without it running,it is party torn down.thank for the help.
